As you may know, a few months ago, Coke brought back the unforgettable soda,
Fanta. Currently, its only available in California, Arizona, New Mexico and a few other Hispanic markets. I was fortunate
enough to get my hands on some of the Orange and Strawberry flavors. The orange is pretty good, though its not Minute Maid.
I don't have anything to compare the strawberry with. I'd drink it again even though it doesn't taste like strawberries.
Then I saw it. I believe I was in the Super Wal-Mart about a block from my
home when it happened. Pineapple Fanta. Now to give you some background information, I've never been a big fan of pineapple
soda. But I thought that the only pineapple sodas I've ever tried were the no-name brands you get at the Dollar Tree. I figured
Fanta could not mess this up. I bought a case.
Fast forward one week. I'm looking in the fridge. I find some leftover eggplant
parmisagna and some cans of Fanta. I pass the strawberry and orange and pick one of the pineapple.
After heating the gourmet Italian meal Mother had made, I started eating.
It was quite hot so I opened the can of Fanta. I took a sip. It was sweet. Way too sweet. It tasted like Orange Fanta. Only
lighter. And sweeter. And nasty. The rest of the can went down the sink drain.
Cons: It just doesn't taste good.
